Chapter 1453 - Hi April!

It's April!

Always one of the month that i look forward to. May this month be a smooth sailing month for me man. Have been feeling quite down and stress with so many things since last month. Glad that im taking a break from work as i will be heading off to Japan tomorrow! Omg.

Previously i shared that my boss and i are currently working on a project right? Finally it's officially launched! Do follow us on IG, FB, Youtube and Tiktok at SGParentsKiddos ! Subscribe to our Youtube channel as we will be sharing more informative updates there. Other platforms are just brief summary from what we gonna share.

So this platform is to aim on providing information, tips and hacks to new parents/parents, toddlers and infants in Singaporean style. As you know whenever we do research on information for tips etc, we will tends to find information from overseas but a rare seen for SG platform. So we thought that by providing some tips and hacks based on Singaporean style may benefits parents out there. It will bring all parents closer together because this is where we call home. hahahaha.

So do check us out okay! Shared this new platform with a few mummies whom i know and they find it quite informative la. We are still improving and providing more updates so please pardon us okay! Feel free to input your comments for our improvement too. Hee.

Chapter 1454

First post for March, a late hello!

Guilty is me for not being able to catch up with my blog regularly. I have always wanted to come here but am swam with my work and taking care of the little one.

Little one is turning 2 in few months' time and it has been quite challenging to take care of her due to her being so naughty at times. As one says, she is in the "terrible two" stage. omg. I've broke down countless time to myself as i was feel very overwhelmed with work and taking care of her. The stress level is ain't joke man.

This week i have been staying over with the little one at my parents' as HubB is out of town. Thankful for extra hand where i can catch a breather for good and also to focus well on my work. So thankful that i'm still able to WFH - definitely not gonna take this for granted.

Currently my boss and I is working on a project that may benefit parents in all ways. We are setting up a platform to provide some useful tips for all parents. Really hope this will works! Will share more when the platform is ready!

Chapter 1453 - Privacy

Recently, i have chanced upon an article regarding on protecting the privacy of our little one.

My personal POV, it's important to protect their privacy regardless their age. I think the most basic practice to have between a parent and a child is being respectful and having trust with each other. Definitely i'm not 100% confidence that i can fulfil these 2 basic items with my little one because i'm a paranoid mummy. Lol. I tend to overthink, worry too much on unnecessary thing when comes to my little one. So i'm in the midst of mastering to be less paranoid as a mummy.

There are so much to learn and adapt as a first time parents!

Talking about protecting our little one's privacy. Yes, i do agree even they are still young, we have the right to protect their privacy regardless of their age.

For those who know, i have actually created an IG account for my little one even before she was born. The account was for my documentation on my pregnancy journey and slowly to update the little milestone when she was born. This account is private, and we only allow our family members and super close friends to follow.

But of course, those exclusive photo (ie unglam etc 😂) we will not share with anyone but for self-consumption only. So i will usually IG video about her when we left the place that we visited, in case anyone is stalking us. HAHA. I mean you never know because social media is powerful and scary if we didn't handle it with care.

When little one start to become more sensible, i will seek for her consent if i could share anything about her on our social media. I think as parent, this is the most basic thing is to respect and protect their privacy. Definitely i won't want anyone to update about me on social media so randomly and posting photo that i deem is unglam 😂

On a monthly basis, i will tend to update her monthly milestone on Facebook. Reason is because my Facebook friend list consist of family members who would love to see her updates. In case you are wondering why i don't share it on Whatsapp etc. Long story short, not all in the group chat will be interested with my little one's update. So i don’t think it's really nice to spam the group but at least friends on Facebook can just unfollow my post or hide my updates if they are sian with it 😂😂😂 And Faceook allows me to hide post from people whom im not comfortable to share with too! But anyway, i have minimize on sharing much content about my little one on social media liao. In fact, recently i have done some clean up on my fb albums. Deleted quite a number of album and decided to go low profile for some event though i guess it's too late to do it now.

Further that, i'm a social media addict or rather an IG addict. I love updating there but now i'm more aware on being low profile so sometime i only share my IG stuff with people whom im close with. The world has been taken over by social media and it has become part of our daily life, i think most of us can't live without it.

Chapter 1452 - Happy CNY

Zomg! Didn't expect my next update would be this month. I wanted to update for the past few weeks but i was very busy and feeling exhausted with all the ongoing events/house visiting. Since today is the final day for CNY, so am gonna update my CNY celebrations in this post, at one go.

HAPPY CNY EVERYONE!

Finally we are able to go for CNY house visiting after 2 good years due to pandemic and this first CNY after so long is kinda different for me or rather my mini fam. A new milestone with little boba despite of having our first CNY last year. I guess i felt more exhausted for this CNY as compared to last year because she knows how to walk around now and i (we) got to chase her everywhere she goes. She's super clingy to me during every house visiting. Then i will need to wake up slightly earlier to prep myself and the little one and there goes my sleep. lololol

It was an experience for me but am glad we don't have much house visiting need to be done. If not i guess i will need to sleep in for 24hrs to replenish my energy. Ha Ha Ha
