Chapter 1448

Bye 2022! 

I didn't make it to update my backlog as i was kinda caught up by my daily stuff and i was nursing myself these few days due to i was down with mild food poisoning and gastric flu. What a nice combo -.- 

It's my 3rd time this year where i got myself gastric flu. Seem like a something i got to work on by having more clean and health diet in 2023 to stop this returning to me. Hate the feeling of being nausea! Eew ~ 

Nonetheless, i just hope 2023 i will be happier and healthier! These 2 are the main things to keep a life going everyday! 

And i hope i could handle my personal time and well being in 2023. 

This year am thankful that i have gotten a job where im able to WFH. Boss is really understanding think because she herself is a mum of 3. My job nature allows me to WFH hence nothing go to do with me being a mum.  Love how flexible my boss is but yes, am not gonna take this granted and i will still be disciplined at all time. Haha 

Not gonna share much about it but my current job is one of the things that am really thankful for! 

Hoping a good 2023. A year where i can overcome some obstacles ..

&& lastly, since it gonna be a new year, i hope i can update my blog more often! hehe

Chapter 1447

 It's a shopping day!

Headed out with sister and little boba for a shopping spree. Make our way down to Jewel to support Lovet! Have been eyeing to go there since their new launch but the Q was effing long and crazy! Thankfully we only Q for about 20 mins. First thing all, their ground staff was so friendly and even offered their help to assist me by pushing boba's stroller to one corner while we focus on our shopping! Counter staff was so friendly towards Boba where they gave her a jelly. hehe 

I hope Lovet will have a perm shop! Their outfit/design never fails to surprise. Super love it! 

Their shopping bag is big & spacious! I love the idea of their long handle so that we can carry on our shoulder when there's a need. And their shopping bag is in good quality too. 

Is a Lovet day for me! Received my new buy via online from them.

They also changed their Poly mailer design. Love how aesthetic the design is. 

Had our lunch after our shopping. Went over to another corner of Jewel to slack a bit.

Despite of being a weekday, the crowd at Jewel was considered as "many people" probably due to school holiday.

Recently she has becoming very naughty that i always lose my sanity. Rah. I know is her growing process and i know i need to remain saint and patience :') 

Received a call from a childcare yesterday mentioning that there's a vacancy for little boba in February. We are hesitating if we should send her in this soon. We were looking at May/June 2023 initially. However, as i am currently WFH and i still have the capacity to look after her and to be honest, i am not ready to send to school so soon :( 

Apart from that, the location for the school is kinda far from us. We are at the West of our district, but the school is located at the East instead. So is another thing for our consideration. We have opted for the school under our block but till date there is no vacancy yet hence, they refer us to another district. I won't deny am an over attached Mummy to boba. hahahah 

But i know i got to learn to let go bit by bit for her to grow and learn independently 😢

Chapter 1446

One of my biggest takeaways for this year. 

We lose some, we gain some. 

Losing someone who used to be closed to us was indeed a loss. I (we) cherish the friendship with this person but somehow, somewhat it doesn't work out for us. 

We could be the bad person in their story but least, i hope our story will be heard too. Nonetheless, 不做亏心事, it's fine for me (us) to be the bad person in their story. 

Im thankful for the happy moments we had together. And i wish you all the best!

Chapter 1445

Helluuuu 

Finally got some personal time to update again! First 2 weeks of December was packed with ongoing activities. Kinda fruitful and eventful! 

Last Thursday; 

Company organised a family day trip to River Wonders! I think the last time i went there was 3-4 years ago and i can't remember a single thing about the trip then. Everything looks news to me when we were there recently. It was my first family trip with my current company! Thought it will be an awkward one, but all turns out to be good. hehe

Hi Kai Kai! Didnt manage to catch Jia Jia and Le Le.. they were sleeping then. 

Little boba was super amazed when she saw Kai Kai that she continues to go *Wow*. In fact, am amused by little boba's action. lol

Not many pictures were taken as i were busy checking out the fishes/animals there and handling the little ones. To conclude, it was a nice experience with the company! 

Next up, it was MIL's advanced birthday celebration. Spent the whole day together and i don't have any picture taken :|

Then the following day, headed to my family's for housewarming. I was feeling a little grumpy due to lack of sleep {as always} 

The next day went to do some Christmas gift delivery to my clients! Back to back event ain't jokes for a weak mother like me. Lolol. I miss those days where i was so energetic and always looking forward to endless activities T.T

Chapter 1444 - Hello December!

Hello December! 

Yet again, final lap of the year. 

So much to reminisce and to look back for this year. Be it good or bad. 

Perhaps, i should do up a reflection post for 2022 before the year end. 

To kick start my December, attended Aunty's ROM ceremony today and also celebrated one of our cousin's birthday. Thereafter the celebrations, we returned to parents' place to slack around. I was feeling effing tired due to sleeping late last night and waking up early this morning. 

But a fruitful day, indeed. This December is an eventful one. Many ongoing gatherings and etc. Hopefully will be a good one to end the year. I will keep up with my pace to update as much as possible! ^^

Coming week, there will be 3 different events. I'm not gonna say i will look forward to it because things always become otherwise whenever i look forward to something 😓

Chapter 1443 - Bangkok 2022

This is gonna be an extreme throwback post! 

Finally able to travel after 3 years! Thanks to pandemic 😏
As titled, we travelled to Bangkok in end September to early October 2022! It was our first trip as a mini fam with little boba. We went ahead with my SIL and BIL, perhaps our first trip together too! 

Was procrastinating if we should proceed with the trip since Boba was about 14th months old only. We heard many horrifying stories when travelling with a baby/young toddler especially on plane. Superb thankful that little Boba remains calm and peaceful throughout the plan ride. No fuss moment from her! hehe. 

In overall, i think the trip was just right for us to kick start the trip with little Boba, least we know what to be prepared for future trips. 

Aiming to go to Japan/Aussie with my mini fam for the next trip. Got to aim for it! 

The trip to Bangkok was okay! It wasn't that scary as what we thought when travelling with little Boba. We were still able to have some "us" time while the siblings in laws assist to take care of little Boba for us. hehe

Chapter 1442 - Goodbye, 97

As mentioned in my previous blog post, my family has moved out from their previous unit and currently residing in their new estate. 

It was a superb good news for everyone when our Daddy told us that he was firmed to move out after so many years! If you were a follower of my blog, you may have read up some entries about our wicked neighbour who stayed above us whom has not been giving us peace throughout the decades. So happy for my family where they can do their laundry openly without worrying people pouring anything down from the top, no more stomping or skipping at home especially during near bedtime. Best of all, their ears can be free from all the swearing and cursing. 

Staying at the previous unit was the best moment for us except facing the wicked neighbour. We love our neighbour that stayed at the same level as us. We often gift each other goodies during all kinds of festival. Though i have moved out from the unit for 5 years but this somehow impact me a little when they officially moved out from the unit. I do miss my Malay neighbour at times. They were so nice to our family 💕

I didn't have a chance to bid them goodbye because everything was in a rush. Probably i'll drop by some day to say hi to them! heh.

So thankful that i'm able to 嫁出去 from here. This is so important to me since i grew up from here since young! All the precious memories will remains in my heart.

Chapter 1441 - Belated hello to 2022!

OMG.

Firstly, hello everyone! How are you?! Im finally back for good. Told myself i wanna be disciplined by updating this little space more often. I don’t know who else is still on blogger but nonetheless, i will be updating here more frequently as to document all little things for my keepsakes. But hello to whoever is reading this now! *wave vigorously* 

Secondly, i feel like stabbing myself because of my stupidity, i went to save my draft post and exit the page and boomz! My post was gone and here i am to re-update every single things again. Rah! And so.. here’s my first post of 2022.. life has been tough, challenging, great, bittersweet and happening! Definitely one of the key point is me feeling tired every single days no matter how much rest i have. Ever since after birth till date, i have been feeling really worn out. Being a parent is tough indeed. But is all worth while when you see the smile on the little one and being.. clingy to you. Hehe. I won’t deny am an overly attached mummy! I think of my little one whenever am alone outside. I would look forward to go back home for her as soon as possible! Proud to say that she is my everything ♥

I have so much to update but don’t know where should i get it started. Guess i will just update whatever that is on mind so it won’t be according to the timeline. 

Let’s go!

One of the biggest milestone for little boba would be her FIRST birthday celebration with all the love ones. We had 3 different celebrations in separate days. Celebrations with in laws’, my family and her actual birthday.

Shag parents because it was a back to back celebrations. But its okay so long little boba got enough rest and looking happy here. Definitely worth it! 

We booked a staycation at Larkhill Amara to celebrate little boba’s actual birthday! 

She was so fascinated by the bubbles. Even till date, she is still enjoying playing with bubbles.

Next on the list would be our 13th anniversary celebration. 
Among all the anniversaries that we have together, our "being together" anniversary is the most that i value the most! Its not easy for a relationship to last for this long. Many support, understanding, endurance and tolerance is required to build up a relationship especially me being mood swing very frequently. Ever since after birth, i feel moody very easily. I blame the after-birth hormones, can i? Shall leave this aside and will share more in future. 

We had our anniversary celebration together with our little one. So special, so precious.

Brought ourselves to have Dim Sum high tea at Jumbo seafood. A new idea for high tea and i definitely enjoyed myself! 

We had dinner at a Japanese steamboat restaurant.

Oh yes, before we headed off for our dinner, we went to have a self take photoshoot at Orchard Central. Fun experience with my mini fambam. 

Achieved a new milestone as a family this year: travelling to Bangkok as our first trip after 3 years! An exciting journey yet a worrysom one. We were afraid if boba will make a fuss on airplane. But thankfully, she slept through and waking up happily eating her snacks with no fuss. Peace out! Hehe

Another big highlight would be my mini pohfam moved out from their unit just recently. I was truly sad because i grew up from there since young. So much memories at every corner! Even the lift lobby also part of my memories. Its quite sad whenever the thought of the unit belongs to another new owner now. So my pohfam moved over to a unit where its just directly opposite my grandpa’s. Bigger square feet and all is looking good! 

Allow me to share the above highlights in a separate post because there’s so much to share especially with many pictures taken! 

Mmm. And yes, i have left my previous company and currently in a new job. Thankful for the current job that allows me to have some flexibility where am able to have quality time spend with little boba. I won’t deny that it was a hard decision for me resign as i was with them for 9 years. But i guess is time for me to move out from my comfort zone. It would be nice if i could stay throughout this year as it will marks my 10th with them.. guess i won’t be back to the same industry anytime soon. Need a breather! 

I promise i will try to keep up the pace and update this space regularly. Least once per week okay! Even if there’s no more readers i will still be updating for my own sake. I have so much to share and hopefully i can just pen down everything before the new year arrives.
