Chapter 712 - Precious Lesson Learnt

Kinda unlucky day for me! And im so emo right now! Omg! :( 

I guess after the entire incident i only can say im really dumb and stupid! 

Few weeks or months ago, (i can't remembered) i downloaded an app is something like topping up your Ez link card on your mobile phone. I thought it was a pretty cool idea so i went to download it. Explored the app and i find it is kind of useless and not workable at all so i deleted. 

This morning, i received a call from this so called "Ace Insurance". I don't know is it a scam. The number looks kinda weird and strange to me. But however, i picked up the call and i was told that this lady is from the Ace Company and telling me that they tracked that i have downloaded that app before and she is promoting the Ez Link card Insurance to me. This Ez Link card insurance is something like if you met any accident or injury during taking any public transport the insurance will cover you and for this benefit you got to pay $17.66 monthly. I have let her know that im not really interested and she continue to speak. (I should have just hung the phone!), so i continued listening. So in order to verify im JASLIN (yes, she knew my name in the first place!), she asked for my email address and address as part of verification. I gave her. And seriously i think im being cursed, out of nowhere she asked for my MASTERCARD number. (Not the CVC number), I DON'T KNOW WHY WOULD THE HELL THAT I GAVE HER THE NUMBER. FML. And you know, before i ends the call i still double confirm with her if im paying for anything now and she still assure me, NO till i received an confirmation email from them within 3 working days. 

After ending the call, i just find something is not right! I called back the number and they literally rejected my call. I started to feel panic! I was ranting it to boyfriend, happy pill and colleagues! Till boyfriend sent me a link to show that people are complaining about it too. I felt seriously, dead! Quickly called up the POSB to block my card in case there's any unauthorized transaction. The entire day i can't sit still and i'm feeling kind of emo :| After work, quickly rushed down to one of the POSB brunch and get my entire card changed! And i was told that the $17.66 was already been charged into my account! I just felt like im being scammed! Damnit! :( Now, i hope that the money won't be deducted as of next month since i have changed my card. Not a joke seriously. Guess this is the first precious lesson being learnt for the year! I brace through courage and shared this with my Mummy. She told me just treat it as "xiao zai" (getting rid of the bad lucks) before the brand new start of the new year arrive. I shall just make use of this to comfort myself for now :( I can't accept that im acting like a dumbass today. One word, STUPID! :( 

Anyway, the number i received was 69221520! Go google it and you will know what happen. Bah! But im sincerely thankful that the money i got scammed is not hundreds over dollar! I shall keep this from my Daddy! He will definitely screw me if he knows. So anyone who is reading this who knows my Daddy, please don't say anything to him ah! LOL

Reached office i saw this. From some unknown people i guess? I hope i can find out who is this though. 

This is the bear that i'm aiming! But other than boyfriend and 2 colleagues of mine, nobody knows about this! >< But still thanks to whoever it is! Lol! 

Oh yes, when i was on my way home, there's this ah pek keep pointing finger at me and keep scolding me! I'm so suay today :(
